2024 INFORMATION2024 SCHEDULE 2024 ROSTERRULES/POLICIES
The PGA Jr. League is a national program designed to better socialize the game for junior boys and girls, age 13 and under, by creating a “little league” approach to golf. The 2-person scramble format allows young people of all ability levels to be part of a team in a structured league setting without the pressure of individual medal-play competition. Our goal is to create an inviting atmosphere for the young people, recreational at its core and maximizing the fun.
The San Diego County PGA Jr. League (SDCJLG) is a developmental league, which basically means that young people learn how to play the golf course by playing in matches and develop into future tournament players. The League will start in March and run through the end of May, headquartered at the Encinitas Ranch Golf Course.

Results for the 2023 season: Team #4 – Audrey Bowden, Ava Davis, Patrick Henry, Damian Hernandez, Luke Mougin, Xander Ogg, Lauren Richardson, Jack Robin, Anthony Wu and Kaylee Wu – won the 2023 San Diego County League #1 Regular Season Championship. Congratulations to all the support teams and players for an awesome year and exciting matches, this was definitely a team effort! All-Star Team members were- Audrey Bowden, Lydia Chang, Patrick Henry, Nawaphat Maneerat, Jack Robin, Zoe Salinas, Enzo Taylor, and Emma Wang. After several practices and practice rounds we started our journey by winning the SCPGA Section Pre-Qualifier at Willowick Golf Course in Santa Ana, CA, followed that up with a victory at the SCPGA Section Championship, played this year at Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, CA, and then traveled to Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club in Santa Rosa, CA for the Southwest Regional Championships. We performed very well in Regionals, finishing the first day of stroke play in 3rd place out of 8 teams, then lost by 1 1/2 points to the Arizona team in match play. I am very proud of this years team for showing great sportsmanship and determination – we were a young team comparatively and we played our hearts out.
