• Get a golf club in your hands every day, become better acquainted with each club in
your bag, swing it in your back yard or garage.
• The first thing to go will be your feel for chipping and putting; don’t worry so much
about your golf swing, it will come back to you fairly quickly.
• Practice bouncing a golf ball on your wedge, chip golf balls into a laundry basket,
putt on the rug at home, play ping pong, keep your hand-eye coordination sharp.
• Check to see if all your grips are OK, get new ones put on if they need it.
• Check to see that all of your equipment is in good shape: bag, push cart, gloves,
golf balls, umbrella, towels, golf shoes, etc…
• Watch golf on TV, they have some classic golf tournaments on the Golf Channel,
keep your interest up – we will be back to playing golf soon – stay sharp everyone!!
